Aviation Organizations
Lately I've been thinking to myself if its possible to create my own association or aviation related organization of my own. I live in a city that has plenty of history in aviation however that era faded out quickly so I thought maybe it would be a good idea if I started an organization that participates in promoting and encouraging people to focus on studying aviation. The neighborhood I live in on the east side of Dearborn is known as the aviation sub because before there were neighborhoods, its roads were used as runways. But of the many already established organizations that have members all around the nation would be the NBAA National business aviation association. I plan on being able to become an entrepreneur in this industry the more I become certified as a pilot. I believe being a part of this organization would help keep me well connected with many pilots and aircraft owners around that nation that already engage in their own sort of business or service with any sized aircraft. The business aviation community already consists of many companies that work with many different types.
If I wanted to start my own association specifically for people that lived in the city of Dearborn I would have to make it clear that we are looking for young college students to become involved and form a committee. After forming a committee we would have to incorporate the association through secretary of state. Our plan is to help offer scholarships through fund raising and to provide the resources they need to become connected with places and people where they can learn. The role of this organization would be to help the city breed more pilots rather than just med related studies which is what majority already study. The NBAA is a organization that allows your company or business to help raise charities, exhibiting opportunities, and even advertisement opportunities.
As a professional being involved in aviation related associations, boards, and organizations will provide the right resources many people and companies will need in order to continue their success. Aviation can and does prove how small this world really is when we are find ways to stay well connected with each other and be able to help each other out and I believe every pilot or employee of any aviation related firm should help by participating in more organizations.
